Emphasis on Culture!
Youth far away from reservation life can quickly loose their heritage in
an urban surrounding with all its excitement and temptations. The ECSIUT
strives to keep its youth focused on their heritage by teaching them the
traditional values of Indian life and how to deal with the new world they
live in. Students of our cultural classes and outreach to the South
Carolina public schools today will become important role models an great
citizens with an appreciation for Native American Indian Culture and
history for the future generations.
