5 days of films and video by and about Native Americans & international indigenous Peoples sponsored by the Eastern Cherokee, Southern Iroquois & United Tribes of South Carolina, Inc.

This community-based event aims to present the richness and variety of indigenous cinematic expressions. Primarily the festival is a time to educate folks about contemporary Native American talent and issues, Native theme documentaries and to discuss film and the power it has to tell Native Stories by Native people and to entertain.

EDUCATIONAL OUTREACH

EACH year we also made a special effort to promote the individual films at each screening by creating flyers to encourage sales ( or distributing ones provided by filmmaker) and we make a special effort to provide audience members, librarians, faculty, teachers and interested individuals of the web locations and contact information for the purchase and sale of each film presented.... for personal, educational and institutional use.

We are devoted to fostering sales of the films on DVD and those beings screened while we educate and expose these folks to Native American Indian cinematic talent!

We strive to assure every exhibiting filmmaker has a world-class festival experience. For those filmmakers screening & attending the festival we try and arrange host housing & transportation while in town. A pass to all films and parties & an invitation to a private filmmaker reception and much more.
